Meehi's Bio:

Born and raised in Atmore, Alabama, Erin Taylor started writing song lyrics at the tender age of 8. By 13, she had her own studio set up in her bedroom in her mother's home where she taught herself how to engineer and produce due to lack of financial means to record elsewhere. It was around this time when one of her older cousins began calling her "Baby Gurl". After taking into account that people always noted how she sounded much younger than she was when she would rap, she decided to make "Baby Gurl" her stage name. By her junior year in high school she had proved to be the reigning top female emcee in town and attached "da Beast" as a result of people referring to her as being "a beast" lyrically.

         She graduated high school in 2008 and moved to Atlanta, Gerogia  where she would meet a music promoter that booked her up to 4 shows per day around the Atlanta area with the dance crew Krunk Kamp Krew. She assisted in the groups choreogrophy and would dance with the team as a member in various dance competitions.

         After several months of promoting her music in Atlanta she moved to Abilene, Texas for 4 months before moving to Savannah, Georgia at only 19 years old. After several hardships that included her being homeless, nearly raped, living without lights and water in her first apartment, not having money for food and going without eating for days at a time, losing all of her belongings twice, and barely escaping jail, she started selling drugs and spent all of her time using marijuana and recording music.

         Currently, she is 25 years old, married, a mother, and a college student with a 4.0 GPA working towards her Bach. in Legal Studies. However, she refuses to let her lifelong dream of making it big die and continues to pursue her music. 

         Due to her changes in life she decided to drop "Baby Gurl" because it reminds her of a life she longs to forget. Instead she chose to present herself to the world by her legal name; Meehi.
